Hey, we haven’t updated a whole lot, cause well, we’ve been busy rockin’ out.

But be sure and join us Feb. 9 for Panda, Septacon & Matej; Feb. 16 for a Femme Fetale party (all girls music) with Sara Cidal; and Feb. 23 for a pajama party with DJ Powerhouse.

Ho Ho House Party w/ Powerhouse

We’re hosting a Ho Ho House Christmas party with DJ Powerhouse. Drop by and enjoy some holiday spirits with us.

We’ll have some sort of prize for the best dressed Santa/Mrs. Clause/Elf, we’ll think of something (maybe a date with LeTrouble or Powerhouse…)

We’ll have the usually drink prices ($2 beers/wells, $3.50 doubles) and usual cover ($3 or less), and the usually door requirements (all ages, all are welcome). But keep it classy, or don’t.

October marks a full year since Resitance hit it’s current status – packed rooms every night and ever rotating guests and themes, so we’re packing the month with guests and events.

The month begins with guest DJ Powerhouse Oct. 6, followed by DJ Bluandie on the 13th. Topeka’s own Sydeburnz will be rockin’ the house on Oct. 20, and Oct. 27 – we’ll have a full bill with a live performance by Cryogen Second (Atlanta) and DJ njnTrubl (Wichita).

Oh, and Resistance is bringing down the house with a big Halloween event Saturday, Oct. 29. Stay tuned for details!

We’ve been rolling through August and September, having a great time as Dismantled and all of the weeks since. We’ve been rolling with some new things as well…

- First Thursday’s are now Washburn night – free entry these nights with Washburn ID (it -does- have to have your face on it).

- more guest, more DJs. OCt. is chalked full of out-of-town and celebrity guests. Check the calendar, which includes DJ Powerhouse, Blaundie, Sideburns, njnTrubl and more. For November, we’ve already lined up appearances by Team Bear Club and Nashtadon.

Totally 80s Party!

Screw fashion, down with disco and hurray for Aquanet!

We’re throwing a totally awesome 80s Resistance style – fully stoked on the alternative edge of everything from synth pop to hair metal.

We invite you to come out in your best (or worst) 80s garb and get down to the decade most of use grew up in. Get you hair as big as it’ll go and come down for the party…

We’ll have VJs Letrouble & Stryfe rockin’ the 80s videos, digin’ out plenty of dark, dirty dance music along with plenty of those tunes you still file in your “guilty pleasures” playlist. DJ Spinz will be bring in a little outside flavor, along with a bit of vinyl. If we could find them, we’d spin a few tape decks…

We’ll also have 80s Trivia, hosted by Egypt, with 80s prizes to those who know are in the know…

Drink special so cheap you’ll think you were in the 80s (even if you couldn’t drink then) – $2 wells, $3.50 double, $2 cans (PBR, Rolling Rock, etc..)

21+ dude are $1 before 10 p.m.; 21+ chicks are free.
Totally rad youth can join the party for $3 or less.

Creep Week

Some bars and bar-goers despise creepers – you know, those peeps that hang one you, buy you free shots, ask you to go home with them ask you spit beer laughing in their face…

Well, in a weird way, we like them (mostly in the getting free drinks sense). Se we’re hosting a Creeper Night! So dress up as that creepy uncle, weird guy in the bar, or high school principal that always gave you the chills. If you can pull of the creep look, come as your cute self, ’cause lets face it, we’re going to need someone to creep on, right?

Some come out, have some good fun creeping, and buy someone cute a drink ($2 wells & beers). They just might laugh in your face for it.

Guest DJ will be DJ Blaundie. Feel free to creep on him, as he’s not very good at it.
